Know Your Rights
Be Informed.
Live Prepared.
No matter your immigration status, you have rights under the U.S. Constitution. Knowing your rights can protect you and your family during unexpected encounters with immigration or law enforcement. Being prepared means understanding what to do if approached, having important documents ready, and knowing who to call for legal help. Empower yourself with knowledge—it’s your first line of defense.
Center for Immigrant Progress is here to help you understand your rights and risks and to provide you with up to date resources to protect yourself and your family.
